The Island of Angaga, Maldives
This detour takes place on the beaches of Ati Atoll on the island of Angaga in the southern most islands of the Maldives.
Challenge DescriptionIn this road block, one team member must build a traditional undholi swing ( a swing comped of a wooden frame with a log as the bench which dangles under the frame from string or chain). The unholi is indigenous to the maldive region. The team member must fetch a sizable drift wood log from the beach and use provided materials to build and unholi on the beach. Once they think the swing has been properly constructed, it must be inspected and pass a 200 pound weight test. If it fails the inspection or the weight test, they must restructure the swing. If the swing passes, they will move on and receive their next clue.
